I don't doubt that Shane flies well in whatever he flies. But, truthfully he has yet to impress me with any manners.

I used to defend him when people got mad at him for whatever reasons. Love or hate the guy he usually has something to say. The cold hard facts are he speaked what he thinks whether you like it or not. But in his defense....he is usually right. I have engaged him twice in the last few months. I remember specifically because a few people have complained about him. Both times he was in an Lav 7 and I was in a Mossie. The first time, I was above him and he climbed at me, lost all of him energy and I had a perfect shot on him. I dove and missed him with bad aim as an enemy spit closed on me. I ran for the deck and extended from both of them. After a chase I turned and Shane got me fair and square in a nice deflection shot. I him...no response.

The second engagement, the same MO, with the exception of multiple cons imbound on me. I had the perfect shot...I missed and atleast 3 other cons on me I floundered around trying to evade multiple inbounds and eventually Shane shot me down.... to Shane...no reply.

The guy has no manners....all respect lost. I hate to say that but after a few of those....I've stopped defending him. Maybe it's because I'm drunk tonight...who knows! Cheers!

I do *not* give or directly acknowledge faux 's in the MA (I mean, sheesh are you really saluting at your monitor?) - at most I toss out a smiley or a simple "fun." or say nothing.

I *do* squelch ch 1 and 6 upon logging in.

I do *not* need to be complimented on my flying - I know I'm almost as good as I think I am. Feel free to ask, "hth did you do that?" tho' I might answer or offer to demonstrate.

I *do* accept /.join when I'm in a fighter as long as you clear it with me first.

I *do* at times offer to spend time with people in the DA.

I *do* tell it like it is win or lose - no one is compelled to respond since at most it'll be a one line generic barb.

I *do* engage the anklehumpers on Ch 200 (and the BBS) if they're particularly fiesty.

99% of you *do* suck in fighters, more often than not through a lack of effort and frail online egos, but hey, it's your dime and if you're having fun.

Shane *is* Shane - once "quit" is hit, Shane is simply... gone. Outside of AH Shane does *not* exist, so keep the anklehumping game-related, willya.

AH BBS *does* need more emoticons.

One more thing...

I've seen "the best". I've fought you many times, DA and MA. You aren't it.

The best know they're good... But will never admit they can proabably take on and kill anyone in the game at any given time.

That is the "Best" in the game.

Dont get me wrong. You have a great amount of skill Shane. But because of your mouth and the way you treat others 99% of the time, you'll never be "the best" or even come close to it.

Remember just because your willing to take someone to the DA to show them a thing or two that other 1% of the time, doesnt mean you have the right, or make you right, in treating the rest like dogchit.

pssst... you still have a ways to go yourself - just because you also take people and teach them things doesn't mean you should come riding in on a high horse. you don't see the "best" doing that, either, mmmmm?

I dont "take" anyone to show them anything. If im in there doing something with a squady and someone else wants to join in after that'll be it. But I dont go in there to "train" anyone.

And in comparison to the likes of say Leviathn, Wldthing, Nomak... Who doesnt have a ways to go?

But I dont like to compare myself to anyone. So I wont here.

The times you and I fight, its anyones' game. And that brings me back to what I said before. On any given night...

I'm not going all "oprah" here shane. I'm telling you like it is.

I have respect for you in your ability to put up a good fight. But when it comes to how you interact with those who dont fight up to your standards. Thats where you and I will always differ.

well the few times i've fought Shane we didn't exchange anything because well.......I don't .s or unless someone initiates it. Secondly he seems like a good person, I joined his plane once seemed to be willing to show me some stuff that is if he was flaming into the ocean a little while after I joined. I'm just happy when he's on Bish and there's not a chance of me being killed by him.

BTW Shane next time you're willing to go to DA and try to teach me a few things (god knows I need to learn) i'd be pleased to go.

I'd go a round with you RT but on the second hole they have this cool ball wash thingy. It goes up and down and twists and stuff.

Never have made it to the third hole.
