Old card: a 128M 9600 variant, which was actually a 9550. Never liked it, my spare card called into action after a very unfortuniate soda accident (dont ask) fried my 5600 Ultra, which I loved.
I imagine AH makes some adjustments to reflect the new card, but I'm seeking any input on how to get the best use of the 256M of video ram, are there any particular settings to try that have worked for others?
BTW this BFG card is factory over clocked to 275 (up from 250) and for $149 - $20 rebate, the difference in both performance and 'feel' are huge. .. it's no SLR, but I'm digging on it, huge improvement... the 9550 is basic fecal matter anyway.
Other specs:
XP2500 (Barton), Gigabyte K7 Triton MB, Seagate sata drives. .. XPee Pro, SP2
