Why would one prefer the d25 over the d40? Seems like decidedly less of a bird for slightly better perkies... From what I see a d25 is a underpowered d40. Any other redeaming quality?

That is why I like it. Not as "good" as the D40 (or D30 as it was called when i last played)

No skins either when I played and I prefered the brown over the metal look

When I start playing again I may prefer the D40 if the skins are to my liking.
