will the AH1 cloud editor work for AH2 terrains?
if not does HTC plan on making it so that the current cloud editor will work on a lower resolution than 2048?

The AH1 editor will not work for AH2 terrains.

I don't know what HT's plans are for the cloud editor but here is an example of the new format:

72,3600,30,132000,1000,8,8,100,100,1000,1000,1000,3000,3000,3000,0,15000,0,132000,0,0,422928,0,0,0.500

0,10188,20,121440,2000,10,16,2,4,5000,3000,5000,7000,5000,7000,-179520,8000,547800,1320,0,-252120,66515,0,1330,1.000

6408,6408,20,182688,4000,10,16,3,4,7000,3000,7000,9000,5000,9000,476520,10000,92400,36960,0,-158400,87120,0,76560,1.000

Each "group" would be on a single line and covers a single cloud front -- the above lines are word wrapping. Three fronts are shown above.  You can edit them using any text editor.  It would be very difficult to work with the text from scratch; but if this is something you want to try, I could describe the fields.

You have to run your desktop at 1280x1024 (or higher) in order to use the Cloud Editor with 1024x1024 maps.

and 512 bmps appear in the top left corner and cannot see the controls

(made this image smaller to conserve space on picture hangar)

Just resize the map to 1024, and load that one in the cloud editor.

The problem he's having is his desktop resilution won't go above 1024 x 768 and at that resilution all the controls are hidden so he can't use it.
