Watching a prog on the History channel.
Are they right in stating the P-38 was originally going to be named the 'Atlanta', it was Brits who called it the 'Lightning'?

Its too  bad they did not call it the Atlanta.  Just think of all the P38's that would be all over town, gate guards, parks etc...  Maybe thats why Glacier Girl was at PDK on Saturday?
