Didn't see an edit message there either.

What did I miss?

Most fields are named for where they are, or for someone that was a long time member of a feild that died. So does this mean his dad was that much of a jerk he named the feild after himself?

The airport was built in 1964 and has ALWAYS been city owned....so does this mean his dad owned the city too? So we now know for a fact his father never ever owned this airport.

PS Robert S. Kerr was a US Sen.

If you were wondering were the airport was it was KRKR Robert S. Kerr airport in Poteau OK about 30 miles south west of Ft.Smith Arkansas, we moved there from Las Vegas when my dad retired from Nellis.

I just called this airport and it has been city owned since it's creation in 1964.  No private owners at any time.  You can verify this as I did by calling the airport manager.

Yes I called too... and so did some other ppl too... so lets not bug the airport mng anymore. I called him, and mars called him. The airport was built in 1964 and has always been city owned. So if Golfer or Straiga wants to counter this fact they are welcome to call me, my office number is 678-663-1548. Ask for Wells. I have a fax from the airport there backing this fact up. This is an out and out lie you were caught in Straiga.

Not sure about that one. However we have a small victory here, we just proved that Straiga was not being honest when he said his father owned Kerr field.

I had 376 hrs by the time I recieved my private pilot certificate this was because of my age, at the same time I took my Instrument and Commercial licences at 17. My CFI at 19 and ATP at 21.

my next flight instructor was mys dads partner in the airport he was a retired Col USAF he had 100 missions over vietnam he flew the F-4 Phantom II.

Yeah? Well one day at my daddys airport he let me fly a B52. I was only twelve, but since it was his airport he let me solo it. I flew over to red china and bombed it. I wasnt supposed to bomb there, but were no feds around so I didnt care. By the time I got my PPL I had over 7,000 hours in the B-52. This was because of my age. Half of that time was time as an instructor. I taught all of the US Airforce how to fly the B52.
This one time a La-7 came up fast on my six. So I put the B52 on auto pilot and ran back to the tail gun, I shot him down somewhere over Maryland. But he got my number seven and eight engines, so I had to bail out.
When I jumped out all I had was my .45 handgun and this Dora came around to HO me in my chute. SO I opened up on him. I shot his engine out, and he crashed. When I got down on the ground my daddy tied the dead dora pilot to the hood of his HUMMER and took it back to his airport. Then we stuffed and mounted the dead Dora pilot. I still have it hanging on the bulkhead of my DC-10 I own.
