I have reason to think that Straiga is not Paul "Voss" Hinds. I could post those reasons but I'd rather see if we can get to the bottom of this Straiga thing first.

Be assured that I continue to research this through other avenues. Some interesting things have happened but nothing that would confirm anything that Straiga has posted.

"What did he edit?"

My error. I thought Kegger had quoted a post made by Straiga in this topic.  I did not realise it was from last year.

As for the lie about daddeo owning the airport?  Man. That's something so stupidly simple to check on that Straiga has got to be about 16.

Not my place to say more if you want to know talk to him.  Real nice guy, calm, laid back and an overall pleasure to talk to.

I'm in vegas now at ATP and its LONG LONG LOOONG days of flight/ground.  I had a few minutes of spare time for emails and I'm back at it.  Send me an email if you have any problems with this and I'll do my best to reply as soon as possible, however I won't be back in Ohio again until March 11th and will probably go right to bed.

Cheers from Vegas...

And no repsonse from Golfer either.  Why is that not surprising?

Those of you with connections in the warbirds community should be able to check out this Straigaism:

12-06-2004 03:12 AM

I had a chance to fly a G model B-17 into Nellis air force base for the 50th anniversary air show, it was only about $350 for 1 hour of PIC time.

Somebody has to know who the pilots were that flew B-17Gs in for the show. From what I can find at the show's homepage, there was only 1 B-17G there. Maybe there were two.

$355 B-17 Flight Experience - Current EAA Member

Here is your once-in-a-lifetime chance to fly in an authentic World War II B-17 bomber. EAA is offering historic flight experiences in the beautiful B-17G Flying Fortress "Fuddy Duddy." Take a trip back in time and feel the might of this magnificent flying machine, just as those young men did more than 50 years ago.

IIRC, you get to sit in the right seat for a few minutes. I never took the ride.

Imagine yourself soaring onboard the flagships of the USAAF Strategic Bombing fleet of WWII. Take your position in the crew and experience a taste of what it may have been like in WWII. Sit as bombardier, stand as waist gunner, monitor flight activity as a flight engineer would as you observe the pilots flying the mighty bombers. You can wander through the plane as you like.

Again, no mention of being able to legally log some stick time.

Wonder why that is?

Golfer,

I think you can clear this matter up quickly. Since you have seen Straiga's  "Photo Albums" you should easily be able to straighten this out by posting the nose art on the pony.

I know if I was flying a Pony I would be standing under the art for the photos!

I just realized that I was at the USAF 50th Anniversary Airshow at Nellis, possibly sharing the ramp with Straiga!!

My brother and I brought the BT-13.

I have tons of pics of that show.... do you think?

Sadly Westy Straiga is not 16. I have been on vox with him he seems much older. I would say he is in his late 40s early 50s. What amazes me is the few ppl that I know for a fact lie to others in this game are all over the age of 30. I just dont get it. We have a few rooks that make claims about there back grounds... I dont know why.
