As I promised, I've done some changes to the B24. Here's some screenshots.

Any suggestions welcome before I submit this to Hitech

By the way, this was also know as "The Shark"

I submitted the same aircraft as a skin three weeks ago.

You might try lightening the darkened upper nose patch. HTC reduced the effects of diffuse lighting on this panel for the benefit of aluminium skins, it's a pain for OD paintjobs though. Check out the Liberation Day thread for details.

Sorry about that Knite, I dropped my version of the Chief Wapello for the same reason.

You probably went through the same process as me in choosing a sharkmouth B-24. This was the only one I could find that there was both enough info for and that didn't get screwed by the stetched area below the front turret.

BTW I've been posting my skinning intentions in the "under construction" thread recently, to prevent this sort of mix up.

Yeah Greebo, and I appreciate it on the Chief Wapello thing. Being that a squadmate specifically requested it, I really wanted to bust my hump on getting it done.

Actually, the reason I did this B24 was that an aircraft of the "Circle" series was requested, and this one seemed to have the most background information I could find.

It's all good. Every plane I work on, and every "do over" means the more I learn!
Now, I just have to get into the habit of checking, and posting in the "under construction" thing. lol

Just saw this Knite - damn good work! !

Liked the 44th BG "Eight Ballers" better anyway. Too bad some one already did a skin of it.

Think the Shark's mouth is a little much, I like the plainer ones with just the simple nose art - but that is just me. Still damn nice work!
