I talked to Skuzzy in game a bit today. It appears the problem with my emails may have been attachments that weren't zipped. In the future I will zip all attachments :)

Thanks for your time in-game Skuzzy, I know you are really busy.

Stupid to you maybe, but not stupid to those who make a living supporting this game.

How many will quit because of a strict name policy vs. how many will not renew or not allow their kids to have accounts because of behavior online?

Personnally, I think there is a great community here, but I credit  the conduct police for that even if I would like to see it even more strict.

HTC will not let it get too bad I'm sure, it's just not a good business decision.

I would like  to comment on the last post if I may. I do not want more kids/children/under 18 years olds online. This is not because I want to use poor language and or have a great CPID. This is an  combat simulation were I would love see people using better tactics and make it a real combat simulation. I didnt mean that the policy on CPID or filters are a bad idea, but isnt there a SQUELCH function for this....  Just my .02  Thanks for you time..

I let my daughter on a nearly unmoderated open chat capable game just about as often as I let her walk the city streets alone and unsupervised.

She is 9.

If I want her to fly, I have Offline.

If I want her subject to the inevitable crass, crude, unsophisticated, immature, derogotory total nonsense I could find on any street corner, I let her loose in the MA.

How often do I let her loose in the MA?

Umm..ya, right.

It's a game full of people.  People are idiots.  Filter them accordingly.

Some kids are darn good cyber-pilots. In fact, I think a high percentage of the *kids* want to learn so they can be competitive. In AirWarrior at least, most of the kids I knew were quite good. Can't say that about most of the adults I knew there.

Isnt 616Fubar a teen? He is a perfect example of a young man that is also quite skilled in AH. Canaris is another good example. And you dont want people like them here? I say it's a good thing you dont get to make that descion.  :)

This isnt just a game for adults, and I'm glad it isnt.

I would like to see a list of potty mouths and potty typists posted somewhere.

I would then like to be able to load that list in my AH directory, and everytime I started the game those people would be blocked from my vox and from my text buffer.  Change the list every 2 weeks, but a person stays on the list more than that for each reported offense.  You should also be allowed to edit the list with whomever else you don't want to hear.

I would also like anyone on that list not to be able to receive a check 6 or a Salute from those who use the list.

Everyone who down loads that file has the isolated that potty mouth.  He will be limited in the check 6's he gets. He will be unable to communicate anything to that group of players.  That is, he will not see anything anyone who loads that list types or hear what he says.

Thus there is a penalty for being a potty mouth.  You will be a lot more isolated. A lot less part of the MA community.

Some will change  their behavior, some will leave. We win either way.

If you want to swear, do it on your squad channel, that is if your squad allows it.  Better yet, do all your cussing without hitting your transmit key.

I find throwing a plastic coffee cup at the wall quite therapeutic. I used to throw my joysticks, but that became too expensive.  My cat worked for a while, but she no longer comes near me when I play on the computer. :(

Right now you can only turn off channel 200 as I do. Or turn off individuals.
