Ah... well... when it's put that way it makes perfect sense
1. How often would all stations maned. - Every Tuesday night during our squad night when everyone is having the butts handed to them because we can't man enough possitions.
2. How important is it to see where the gunners are shooting.
Not as important as it is to see what the gunners are shooting.
3. How important is it to be able to quickly jump to a position.
Wouldn't need to jump if someone was maning the gun.
4. Would a formation of 7 groups be better and more usefull than 1 full bomber.
After the first 5 get shot down because of lack of ability to defend themselves then the remaining formations would fill up rather quickly.
5. How much extra band width would be needed to handle each station.
I don't know... You're the expert....
6. How much extra memory to be able to keep track of each gun.
Again... you're the expert.
7. How to handled unmanend guns.
I would assume the same as now. If they can gain a firing solution from the point of view of the maned gun then they would auto fire on that point.
8. How complex would a system be to have multiple gunners handleing multiple guns.
Some would take that as a challenge to see if it could be done.
9 . How to hand off ammo loads when some one leaves.
Why hand off? Each gun has it's own load out.
10. How long would this system take to write.
2 weeks?
