I like to be well rounded so for me it presents itself as a game that when I get tired of one aspect there are other avenues I can go with and still enjoy myself.

I feel exactly the same way.
Added bonus is I dont have to switch to another game just to do something different.

As long as IM having fun doing whatever I may feel like doing at any particular moment, it doesnt matter to me what other people think is fun or not.

IMO nor should it to anyone else

I remember HT commenting an a simular issue, some time ago.

He said that the more realistically one models stuff in, it means more variety in the outcome, since many different factors are in work with all kinds of different situations. Then he said what really sucks is that people actually hate variety and like consistency, except a certain level of consistency can only be achieved when the modelling is actually done unrealistically. So, people say that they want more realism, but they complain about realism if one actually models it that way.

At least, it was something like that IIRC.

People, the point is that HTC web site used to say AH was a WWII combat simulation . Guess I need to look at web site more often to see any changes.

Guess I haven't paid my fair share of Bish taxes, yes I've had a 202 & a zeke take my panzer turret out. My family had to come see why I was yelling so loud for.

wtf did you expect? The game is called ACES HIGH. Both aces and high imply planes. What you want is Lemmings Low.

An intelligent answer, or is that asking for too much?:D

Some of the replies are intelligent, the others .... you figure it out.

Skuzzy you can delete this thread or lock it out. I no longer care.

I want to fly aircrafts.

Apart from that, damage on panzers from straffing mgs seem to be a bit high, but the damage lvts, osties, M3 and m16 take is pretty low.

However, when you drop a 500lb bomb close to a gv it would usually just tip over and be lost.. in aces high bomb damage to gvs seems verry low to me. A panzer sitting in a bomb crater would not make it out... still in ah you can drive right through it.

Still i want to see a film of 202 killing panzer turrent.... i never managed to disable or damage a panzer with mg or canon smaller than 23mm.

The GV issue is really pretty simple. Until desert boots and shorts are modeled the GV end of the game will suffer. The LW spiked heels and matching leather G-strings are just too dang hot for tank use. Then you have the sheep issue to deal with. Sheep get pretty jumpy inside them noisy, closed inned tanks and stuff. They much prefer the open canopy with the wind in their wool.
Democracy is two wolves deciding on what to eat. Freedom is a well armed sheep protesting the vote.
