Need Help with Print Spooler
« on: March 11, 2005, 03:09:32 PM »
Okay, for some reason, my PC suddenly lost its ability to locate my printer, and when I try to Add Printer through (PC) control panel, it tells me the function could not be performed because the print spooler is not operating.

I can't FIND the print spooler info, and all the troubleshooting links are useless....

Any suggestions, other than tossing the crate?

goto 'services' and make sure print spooler hasn't been disabled.  should be set to automatic IIRC.

Bingo!  It was disabled, I restarted and reset manual to automatic...Thanks to both of you for setting things straight!
