I must say the whole "story" was convincing and to be honest, part of me still wonders if maybe it had some truth. But I'm finding out scams like this either to get people emotionally involved in fictional characters or to get money eventually really happens. Whoever alison/sb- and whatever other names they went by were isn't important to me anymore. I'm thankful I didn't end up sending them any money, and I'm thankful for the lesson I learned through the whole experience. I was pretty gullible back then and they were good at making everyone believe their story...
