Picking up downed pilots?

Neither am I.

But I'm definately not waiting for someone to pick me up.

*shrug* Maybe if it makes it through the list of priorities, it won't be so bad, since obviously it doesn't hurt anyone. It just won't be used that much.

So I guess, why not. *shrugs again*

I'm not sure you guys realize how hard it is to find a downed
pilot in AH.  During one frame it took over 45 minutes to find me
even while giving exact position reports and the aircraft being
in the same sector!

I'd like this if they added the ability to capture downed enemy pilots. All HT would have to do is completely change the bailing coad so you can't simply exit to the tower.

Haha omg... :lol

Well ofcourse nobody has to wait for 1 hour....If your report it early enough, someone can be with you within 5 minutes, now that's not too long is it? And it gets you those long deserved kills ;)

5 mins?  didn't you just read it took 45 mins in a scenario even with exact coordinates?

however, considering there's a whole gob full of guys with k/t's of 1-2 per hour that i'm sure wouldn't mind waiting around for a 3 hr rescue to be effected...  coad it!

The way I see it is he got his Butt shot down. He didn't land his plane. He does not land his kills. If he wants to wait around for somebody to pick him up I have no problem with that. But he doesn't land his vulches.

I kinda figured that was the reason HT gave us the .45 - to sit and snipe at people while we were waiting to get picked up.  Now, admitedlly, we would need a few extra magazines of ammunition to make the wait worthwhile.....:)
