It would only be fair to say that i checked as i noticed the ping in game had dropped by 50ms compared to the 185ms it has been at for months.
I had been in game and noticed no problems, when i exited game and checked route it was like this.
So maybe they are just binning ping requests.

More likely you caught Savvis Chicago having a bad case of the hiccups.  Which is something of an epidemic for them but its not all the time.

Savvis=teh suck.  I wish someone that cared would take over and clean up the mess they left behind.  Sitting bankrupt on these connections and literally destroying the internet connections in one area of the US isn't reasonable.
