Morph,  my sense of humor has nothing to do in this situation,  im not here to be made fool of..  This game is retarded as is, worse part is that I actually have to stand up for my E- Pride.  And for someones lack of humility during a few fights,  I have to take the scrutiny.

I didnt see anyone trying to make a fool of you Wld. I saw someone saying that certain things looked like what you do. What they are doesnt matter.

I will say I think its a low blow on your part to come in and talk about Nomak getting schooled when you, yourlself have gotten schooled and no one ever said a word about it. They never came in and threw it in your face.

I think that should change though.

Seeing as my "reP" here is going down faster than a blonde at a kegger. I' figured I'd bust out some low blows of my own.

You want schooled. Well you got it.

Well since you seem to be the noodle holder for your buddy,  I shall direct my attention at you.  Me getting schooled?  Jeez mate,  what you dont know is that we fought quite a few fights that night,  it went out partially even between me and Sniper,  I didnt want Mechanic posting any films of which I had won,  I wouldnt have liked nancyboy's like yourself moaning and groaning about an inflated ego.  Hence why that film was posted in the Training Arena to help out  new players in this game.

Now if you want to spit on and about me getting schooled,  who gives a chit?      I've been away for all these months,  and I still come back to this drama-filled infested hell hole,  for what reason?  To have fun, your opinions of me are no concern of mine.

Ahhhh.

Ok so its different for you to come back into the game rusty and get schooled but not for Nomak?

To be honest the both of you guys get to me. Nomak wont stay around long enough to get past the little rust he's got. And cant take a joke.

Not from me tho. Like I said, mine was just a low blow.

Edit: And btw, I think all of you should take a long look at your own abilities before you start using words like, best, undefeted, schooled ect ect in the same sentence as your own name.

sustained turn spitv's at end of film
« Reply #98 on: April 11, 2005, 07:21:13 AM »
Ah... if any of you  can answer this question I would appreciate it.

At the end of the film in the spit v fight, Nomak sustained turn speed was right around 140-145, and Fatal1 was at 105~. Yet Nomak actually gained on fatal1, even though he started out just athead of Fatal1.

What gives???

A slower turn will generally give you a tighter turn circle, but a turn held nearer to best corner speed will give you a better turn rate.
Basically you may be going faster but by doing so you will actually get around the circle faster than the guy who turns tighter and slower but at a slower turn rate.
Of course if you exceed the best turn speed then the guy who is slower and nearer the best speed will be the one gaining.

All the above assumes your doing flat turns and ignoring all other factors.

Of course its no good holding a better speed turn if the other guy still has enough in reserve to pull for a lead shot.
But at 105 the spitV with flaps out does not have much left to work with.

Morph you know i have respect for you and im not trying to jump in to back up or kick down anyone right here. i would just like to validate that wldthing and sniper had many many fights and just about drew even.

and honestly WT did ask me not to post the films where he won as 'people get bored of the same person winning over and over'.

you wanna talk about schooled, just one of you fight me :D

i'm greener than a baby seal in clubland........who is blind and paralised.

the term schoooled to me concerns someone who is beaten in very short amount of time.

a good long 3-4 min fight isnt a schooling surely, whoever wins.

Morph is nothing.  I schooled him many times sitting on the runway.  One time he was rolling, too.  I think.

Maybe not:lol

And that flat circle period is where nomak missed his best chance to close the fight much sooner.

all he needed to really do was use that extra speed he had and go up into a loose loop and drop back down on fatal's tight turn. there's no way fatal would have been able to follow him upwards.
Surrounded by suck and underwhelmed with mediocrity.
I'm always right, it just takes some poepl longer to come to that realization than others.

k, rookie question here.  How was nomak suposed to know what the exact speed of the other guy was?  I am sure he had an idea, but was it 105, 120, or 140?  Don't tell me you could tell the difference in the middle of a fight?
