Well, all we've been hearing is how expensive a pistol would be in England. Apparently not expensive enough to make it a worthwhile illegal business. Sounds like a "demand" function which again would highlight the basic difference in the nature of our respective societies.

Over here I don't think the majority of our drugs come in through customs. I'd think they bypass any sort of offical inspection risk altogether. In that event, tossing a few dozen guns on top of the load coming in on a cigarette boat is no problem. (In the event things ever get to the "ban" stage here, which I'm certain won't happen in my lifetime.)

stupid brits can't even make a real firearm? sheesh... I could make any number of different types in my garage. shotguns are legal there right? besides homemade shotguns a normal shotgun sawed off is more effective than a handgun in close quarters especialy if weilded by poeple with very little or no firearms experiance... I mean... it's not like brits get a lot of handgun shooting practice.

seems gun crime is staying about the same there... it will probly rise some rather than go down even with the british watered down blood.

Not alot of difference between smuggling and the black market Nashwan. Many gang members in the US get theirs on the black market. There are illegal gun dealers here, and you will have them soon if the gang violence isnt dealt with.

Criminals cant buy guns from a legitimate dealer. Not if they have a record anyways. The instant background checks assure that. If the criminal doesnt have a record yet, then of course they can buy from a legitimate dealer.
