been sayin it for years... the anonyjerks abuse thier power... once they get thier sights on ya they don't bother with others.

Best thing to do is screenshot when you get a box pop up like that from a mod, then email the screenshot in to skuzzy/HT.

These days I don't near as much anymore... and when I do fly, I don't use the readio much anymore.

What did Skuzzy say about language and kids in the game?

Skuzzy Post 1:  There is no reason or excuse for the use of derogatory, foul, or abusive language. None.
It is disruptive and there is nothing positive it will accomplish.

Quite the opposite, all it generates is more anger, frustration, contempt, and causes others that were on the edge to go over.

There is no reason children should not be able to sit with thier parents and watch this game be played. If you feel it is inappropriate, then I would say to you, you are inappropriate. You cannot surmise a situation where using profanity or other abusive language is either appropriate or positive.

Post 2: People, there is nothing wrong with discussing this issue. If you have a contribution, then make it, but please do not attack another member of the community who is making a civil attempt to discuss this point.

When you do that, you are no better than the cussing maniac who is online.

Havoc, if you accept that bad or questionable language is part of online gaming, you have already allowed it to be appropriate to do.

I do not accept it. I reject it. It is a conscious effort to use poor, abusive or derogatory language on the part of the person doing so. It is also the conscious effort by a person to not act in such a manner.

Just as you find being attacked in this thread objectionable, I find it objectionable for it to occur in the game. You either chose to do it, or chose not to do it. There is no gray area here.

And what about the creator of the game? What's his opinion?

They were dealing with the situation, when you pipe up and ***** at them. I wouldn't have warned you had I known you freq. get warnings. Id have muted you.

Chairboy grow up, you complain about no specifices, well you are not doing that that because you want to follow the rules, sounds to me you just want to be able to skirt them.

When a monitor warns you he is explaining the rules to you. At that time you can eather addhear to them or get mutted. Its your choice.

And the resone they are not know, is very simply so I can deal with this crap, and not have them arguing with guys like you.

Funny thing is, i've never seen some one say, but that guy got away with it, with out being guilty and knowing they are guilty.

let's just say I'm not representative of "abusive moderators" complaining.
A long while ago there was one particularily meek moderator who wasn't being impartial, to say the least, but then again there was also Silat with his anonymous warnings, signed :{, which were much better than the rest of the mods.

Some things do piss me off, and I do take responsibility for the consequences of what I say/said.
That said I'll neither apologize nor pretend it was/is excusable.

it's the breach of civility that's the issue.
That same one which pisses people off trying for "courteous" dogfights, that same archetype of varying degrees that goes in forms varying from BK CV dogfights, DA cold merges, escorting a neutered enemy to his homefield, post-fight 's, etc.

I do  not belive it is the moderators who has a problem, appears more like you need to change your behavior.
