you to land hits on nme that goes down, but you dont get credit for assist or kill?  
had it happen 3 times in one flight.  all la7s, kilt 2, seen them falling to ground from about 2-3k and other was kilt later bud teammate, but i got no assist or kill on any of them?!:confused:

any ideas?

You definitely saw them explode? I've been on both ends of a lucky ditch that didn't yield a kill. Just a thought.

na, not explode, but the tail fall off and them 2 of them falling to earth from about 2k.  3rd one, countryman shot him down and got kill for him.

I sometimes wonder if when someone alt-F4's or shuts off his machine, does the system still reward a kill, or does the plane just vanish into thin air and no kill is awarded?

Considering they were Lala scum, they probably did one of these beacuse their fragile ego couldn't handle a kill being recorded against them.  It's the same mentality as that Marine guy essentially.  They were beaten, but not really "beaten."  Or in their warped minds anyway...

A kill is still awarded, I've tested this theory out before with a friend of mine. I let him take my wing off and I alt-f4'd out and sure enough he still got the kill so no worries there.

sometimes in this case it takes longer for the kill to be awarded though....how long did you wait? or did you die?

ive had kills awarded on cons that "disapeared" sometimes as late as 5minutes later
