For those of you who are definitely against bringing back night time . I have the perfect solution, and once I figure out how to post this picture on the thread it will make sense & everyone will be happy

ToJo, have ya seen the newly rendered night time? It is way Gnarley dude, and fun to fly in (tunisa map in CT had night time)

It is awesome to fly and fight in.

Cant see well enough to fight in the dark without increasing the gamma in game, which defeats the purpose of it being dark in the first place.

I for one hope we never see another night in AH....ever. If I wanted to play games in the dark I'd either go to WWIIOnline or start up a game then turn off my monitor!

Thing is if you cant see at night here then your gamma isnt set correctly to begin with.

Gamma in Windows is set at default, gamma in-game is set at 1.0 normally (default).

How old is your monitor?
I've noticed on the monitors over time the brightness degrades over time. I've also noticed the same thing happens to TVs

And I didnt realise just how dark my old monitor had gotten untill I got my new one

Plus monitors themselves are different. What you see on one monitor may be entirely different then you see on another.

In the Game when its night time it shouldnt be bright as day but not pitch black either.
Think Harvest moon.
Those few days every fall when the moon is so big and bright you can actualy read by its light.

In the game it should be light enough to see yet dark enough to that the effects of night make ya go "wow cool"

I was trying to describe what the game is supposed to look like at night with the monitor set correctly:)
