Lazs you live in US where guns are an integral part of ( certainly your ) culture. We do not. No one says you have to get rid of them. We think it might be better for the US if you guys did but that is our opinion.

Likewise we seem quite happy without them so stop telling us we need em.

Cool, now we got that sorted out what about these zombies!?

From what I saw Dire straits albums seem to work!:lol

Well.... at two bucks a round you probly want to line them zombies up so that you can get two or three with one shot but then...

if it costs that much then I don't suppose many of you guys even have a clue on how to shoot a handgun accurately.   you would probly be better off throwing it at em and screaming at the top of your lungs...

"oh please lazs... we are sorrry we ever doubted you... please come and shoot the bad ol zombies cause we are effiminate euros who don't know how to  shoot handguns."

100 shots of magnum 357 $47. Hydra-shoks cost $30 for 20 pieces.

So if we should get a lazmbie invasion one day we'd have plenty of ammo waiting. :p

does no good if you can't hit em...  you need to practice for that... really.... watching people on TV shoot handguns won't be enough.

most handgun ammo here and in the rest of the world is sold in boxes of 50 tho BTW.

100 round boxes are pretty much unheard of here except for 22 rimfire.   I shoot a lot of S&B and fiocchi ammo when I am too lazzy to reload or it is on sale for dirt cheap and it all comes in boxes of 50

A box of 50 of the cheap euro ammo is about 6-8 bucks for the 45 or 9mm or 40 stuff.

Why are you guys getting screwed so bad?   No wonder no one owns or knows how to shoot handguns in lower slobovia where you live.

you guys are getting screwed and the zombies will sense it.

Shaun of the dead shows what happens when an effite country of pasty faced socialists encounters zombies... the only gun in town ( a lever actiopn winchester noted for accuracy and simplicity of action and reliability) becomes useless in there soft, inexperianced hands..

28 days later... the only people doing well against zombies are the army cause they have guns.

Your begging for me to save you from the mean ol zombies will be music to my ears... but I am a nice guy and I will pop em in the noggin with some 44's or 45's for ya... just stay behind me and out of the way.

I think its quite the opposite lazs. The ammo is expensive because of the low demand.

We simply don't need guns in our houses.

snow plows, the cost benefits are tremendous for the final solution of zombies.  one simple motion it will decapitate and pile the bodies ready for burning.

I still don't get it... we have the same internet and I can buy ammo cheap no matter where I live here.   They don't care if dixon buys 1 box a year or a thousand a day.

Well lazs I have to admit you have quite a few problems of 'getting it' in general it seems.

Price levels are different in different countries.

Your computer hardware is about 20% cheaper for example. I can buy cheaper dvd's from the US through mail order. Your gasoline costs less than half what it costs here due to differences in taxation.

On the flip side your medical expenses are tenfold compared to ours. Same goes for retirement homes and other social services. Getting sick in US can mean getting bankrupt financially.

Your insurance levels are initially lower I think but with accidents the levels skyrocket past our ever possible prices. At least that's what I heard from a friend living in US but that was like 15 years ago that I met him.

European cars cost more in US than they cost here. Why can't you buy a 'cheap' mercedes when I can buy one down here? I don't get it.

Many of the price differences can be explained with VAT alone. Others due to different levels of consumption - a typical scandinavian country has about the same amount of people all in all as New York state alone in US. Only the surface area is staggeringly bigger (meaning raised transportation costs for everything.)

I think it would do you good to get out of US for a month or two. You seem to have a serious case of tunnel vision.

Find out how much NZ Bluff Oysters, and NZ Whitebait are in the USA then I'll tell you local prices. Its a combination of supply and demand.

fiochii and S&B are euro ammo that is imported here.   We pay half or much less than you do for it even tho it is made in your back yard.

we can get a deer in our back yard and...

I don't pay anything for medical.

Sounds like you guys are getting screwed.

You don't pay anything for medical? Are you sure?

You must mean you've got a medical coverage through your employer which will end if you get laid off.

What if you need an operation twice? Three times?

I think someone who needs to carry for personal protection is the one screwed.
