Sourgrapes from an also-ran Arsenal fan. Where's your whinging manager these days? Haven't seen his sour faced arse of a face or his overrated, overpaid sulky players in the news much.

But then the premiership is an obscenely dull league these days, and coming second is very much a non-event.

Well done the espanol scousers. The tills of Liverpool's bars ring to the sound of cashed giro money as I type this.

you really are a jerk....

I happen to really like chelsea, i think Mourinho is hilarious, they deserve to win the title - it is refreshing rather than the Arsenal - Utd bs that is always blown up in the press and i also think that Arjen Robben is possibly going to be the best player in the world.

I just didnt want Chelsea to win the Champions League.

I missed the match, though will make for an interesting final.  Will see who gets through tonight!

Have a dilema this weekend, West Bromwich Albion are playing Man Utd.  I like both teams, especially since the former is my late Fathers club.  I want WBA to stay up but... :)  I've also been pleased to see Everton and Birmingham play so well this season.  I'm actually tempted to follow Brum! :)  I think Steve Bruce is a fantastic manager.

I'll admit agreeing with ya on this one. :)

But if they think they're gunna play some sorta defensive turtle crap, like the 7_2_1 (lol) they were playing near the end, then they'll lose against either one of them two.

I hope they can do it tho, .

Chelsea are more likely to win the Champions League than any other 'English' team. Or rather were.

Touched a nerve, have I furball? Or are you simply following a precedent set by Wenger and co...? *sob* :D

The Man U vs Arsenal thing is perhaps the funniest episode in English football for a long time - I actually have more respect for Ferguson after his expert baiting of that French loon Wenger. And the 'fight' in the tunnel where the hardest thing thrown by either side was pizza was a classic. Keep it up!

Well the match just finished PSV 3 - 1 AC Milan.  So that makes it AC Milan go through to the Final on the away goal rule (3 - 3 aggregate).

Milan are so lucky... unbelieveably.

There is no way they deserve to be in the final.

Ok, dumb question. Has anyone else lost interest in a Premier league club due to the complete loss of local flavor?

I too used to be a rabid Arsenal Supporter. I saw my first game at Highbury when I was 4 years old and still have the beloved Scarf I was given that day. I used to dutifully despise Spurs, and venerate the names of Adams, Wright, Seaman, Winterburn, etc... But then after the ascendency of Wenger, I began to notice that I was rooting for what was essentially a foreign team made up mostly  of Frenchmen. Often I found myself in the uncomfortable position of rooting against decent local lads in favor of a bunch of overpaid French and Dutch prima donnas.

After Seaman finally retired, I packed in supporting them entirely. I still occasionally watch whatever Premier League games are on, but the thrill is gone. It's a money game now. The only local flavor left for many clubs seems to be the fan base.

Anyone else get disillusioned?
