I will probably break down at the last minute and go regardless.  I had been taking off work early to go fridays with ff1 (who passed away last fall), and then back again on sundays with the kids sometimes).

Heh, let me in the loop if there is a concensus on what day most are going on.

Yes we need to find out what is the best day. And pick someone to handle the plans and maybe give him our cell phone # if you  have one. This way they can talk to everyone thats there and get it togther or just set time. Make a list and lets start getting votes on which day. I would say Sunday most people will be off?

Looks like I will be going Sunday. I work 1/2 mile from the airport so I will prolly stop on Sat. after work(about 4PM) at the resturant to have a couple adult beverages ;-)
Let me know if any of you will be there at those times.

I might be able to make it actually. If I go I'll probably be there all three days.

More info to come.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Hoping to make the trip down Sat....if weather holds. Missed last year due to son graduation, and froze my butt off the year before in the rain, the year the 38 had the oil leak. Just no luck catching that 38 !!  :D

Everybody find the B-17 "Yankee Lady" and tell the folks manning the table to say hi to dBeav.

I'll let you know what they say when they get back.

:)

It'll be fun, trust me.

Went to Wings over Pittsburgh in 2001, and got to go inside of the Yankee Lady, Actually they gave me the childs discount, because the guy working the table thought I was a kid.

I talked to the guy giving info about the tail gunner pos forever it seemed like, He was a B24 tailgunner in WW2.
