Why should a pickup be on the list? Doesn`t everyone have a pickup. I thought that was mandatory. :D

hmm... yep, everyone owns a pickup now and again.

sport bikes... common as dirt... everyone and his brother has one.. you have to fight people off to keep them from "ya gotta ride my neon rocket" crap... even gixer picked a Vincent as a "must have"  Harleys are getting to be common as dirt but the old ones are a different experiance.   A four cylinder henderson or indian is interesting... even a pre unit triumph or Aerial square four.

I was tempted on the Porche thing but I never liked driving em and they were allways expensive to work on.   Had a speedster for about a month and didn't like it.

The mercedes were all pretty boring.

Cobra kit car is fine... They do one thing ritgh at least..get rid of everything british except the look... the cars are fiberglass tho and you are forever explaining about  "no.. it's not a real cobra but it is really better than a real ..."   Same for the kit car porche speedsters and... all the fiberglass Hot Rods.

Hey Lizking, just curious, have you ever worked on a R113 chassis before?

I agree with Lasz on the whole Mercedes thing.

My pick: 1965 GTO in turquoise, 4 speed manual, 3.73 rearend, headers, tri-power, and an AM radio.  I am a minimalist.

Cripes Laz, do you know how much a pre 72 large block corvette costs? A 70 or 71 isnt too bad, but any earlier than that (especially when you hit the mid-years) and ouch. I plan on owning one, but I might have to forgo some of the others.
