How can you shreckers watch anything on network television (without tivo)?!

5 minutes of show, 55 minutes of commercials and grabassing.

That's one of the things that makes it barable.  Record it at 8PM watch it at 9pm commercial free.

But seriously though. I ony watch semi regularly and I thought from the 3rd or 4th show on that she was going to be one of the finalists if not the outright winner.

She has the whole package, Looks, personality, stage presence and voice.

I think She will probably be the first AI contestant to become not just an AI winner but an outright Star in her own right.

Yeah, I watch American Idol. Wanna fight about it?  I run a recording studio so listening to people sing is kinda what I do. You may think it ghey, but my guitar gets me laid way more than a shotgun, pickup truck, or a football addiction ever would.

The show is marketing genius and has managed to filter through the masses to find some genuine talent. By the time the show has delivered a winner the label has an act with priceless exposure and has a singer who can deliver in a real (live) setting. I believe this season has created 3 successful acts in 3 different markets. Vonzell was outstanding and gorgeous; she’s sure to get offers. At this point it doesn’t matter who wins, Bo and Carrie will both have future success.  All the previous winners and Clay runner up to Ruben have all had platinum albums.  Personally, Kelly Clarckson does it for me, husky voice, girl next door sexy, nuff said.

Well, I for one was really honked off that Bo didn't win, but his loss may be the best thing that ever happened to him. Instead of having industry types tell him what songs to sing, etc, when he does an album he might be able to do what HE wants to do.

The rules of American Idol, and its cousin, Canadian Idol really tick me off. I tried out for Canadian Idol last year and got a rave review in the tryouts until they asked me how old I was (34 at the time). Oops, no one over 26, sorry about that  .
