Ok this is my thinking.
Planes are made out of metal. Planes are painted over that metal.
So.
I painted my bare metal Ki84. Paint Layer just above the last of the metal layers, below markings and below weathering.
On the bare metal skin the weathering is dust, dirt, oil, gun resedue and some just ware to make the skin less glossy in certain areas. Really a painted plane should attract dirt and crap in the same areas. So Im keeping my weathering, but toneing it down a bit.
Ok so now I have a dirty colored plane.
Now I take a airbrush eraser and go to work. Color gets worn off the metal. So lets ware of the color and see what happens......



I kind of like it.
What you guys think?
The freekin JPG compression is hurting it but still please give me an opinion.
