The good thing about the internet is that it gives practically everyone the opportunity to express their opinion and even influence events. That  is what politics is supposed to do too. Or at least that is what politicians would have you believe. But really they have their agenda in mind all along. Good or bad.

The bad thing about the internet is that all the opinions you express are lost in a sea of white noise.  If Plato, Aristotle or  Socrates were alive today. The would probably have a web page and be ignored amongst all the babble and nonsense found in cyberworld.

Not really accurate. I upped and moved away from the city where I had friends in. Here, it's mostly about the co-workers. I don't discuss politics with them.

I appreciate your sense of personal freedom, but whenever one's sense of freedom collides with another's sense of personal freedom, a rule has to be made. Failing that, the bigger/stronger of them beats the crap out of the other.

So the rule gets made, and you get bent out of shape. And you do it ignoring the fact that if you were truly forced to exist in a world of survival of the fittest, you'd be dead.

The essential rules were all made a long time ago. Most of the ones since then really haven't added anything to freedom, they've removed it to no real purpose.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

Don't worry, he's just exploring his feminine side.  Give him a couple of minutes.

Gunslinger? You are particularly apt to seeing a layer of reason to things that exists well below the surface. Despite the fact that your views, on surface, look somewhat mainstream, they are formed through the distrust of anything mainstream. Prone to conspiracy theories. Well intentioned.

Nash?  A man that had to see the lowest point in his life in order to enjoy the highest (best).  Lives in Canada.  Is Candain.  Leans to the left but hasnt forgotten all forms of common sense that alot of liberals tend to.  Is pecimistaclly (SP) cautios.  Likes snow the first 2 weeks, hates it the next 3 months.  Likes "plus size" models.
