It shouldn't take you more than a couple of hours to get used to the pedals.  When I first got my CH Pro Pedals, it only took a few hours of flying to get used to them.

When I first got my pedals, it was in '95 and I was still in AW4W.  Being an old DOS based game, which probably made them easier to get used to since they weren't as sensative as they are in AH.

I always wanted some pedals, problem is; they're more expensive than most sticks!
But I'll have a go

Agreed. If my MS Sidewinder cost $20.00 (counting shipping and handling!) I sure as heck can't put out $150.00 on a pair of rudder pedals, especially when I have to get a new comp anyways.

Are there any leads on CHEAP pedals? I mean cheap in cost, but at least adequate (or maybe "decent") in quality?

I only ever hear of CH pedals. And CH is synonymous with "$$".

CH is also synonomous with serious play.If ya fly a butt load,ya want good equiptment and as far as immersion,ya cant beat it.

$150? I thought they were closer to 100 or 110. I really love the CH Flight stick (i just hope the hat holds out) and was thinking about getting the pedals. I think I'll keep the x45 for throttle. I just wonder if one plays maybe 15 - 30 hours a month if its worth the extra for the pedals. Also mostly I fly a spit so do I even need them? I have emergency rudders on the x45 as a rocker, but I never use them. $150 aint gonna break me but I'd hate to waste money (especially when there are rib eyes to buy).

I got the non-USB pedals off Ebay for $64 including shipping.  Add in a $16 dollar USB-converter and I spent $80 in all.

Hrm... Still too much :(

If it were more like $60 or so I might be able to afford a set in a few weeks.

So back to the original question: What are the non-CH options?
