Nooo...   if your post was to try and change their perspective, you would e-mail them.  Since you posted it on the BBS here, your intent was apparently to create a 'swell of public opinion' in your favor.

Agitation might be a great way to remove dirt from clothes in a washing machine, but try and use it against texans at your own risk.  Stop yowling like a cat that got its tail stepped on when you don't like the result.

Please excuse my callousness, but if your that hard up for 15 bucks, you have bigger things to worry about than playing airplane games.

bottom line is there is an appropriate way, and a inappropriate way to do things.

bringing this to the bbs would fall into the latter, whereas a couple emails, or better yet a phone call would fall into the former.

Don't worry, any ability (or lack therof) on your part to understand the nature of your faux pas can in no way change our opinion of you.  :D

Heh...you walk in with a gas can in one hand and a torch in the other and then wonder where the flames come from?

I have been struck by an uncharacteristic kindness:

The reaction you have received is a result of what I (and possibly, by extension, others) read as a 'whiny' tone.  You started by trying to use the O'Club to foment rebellion/sympathy.  We called you on it, and you took a progressively more sour note as the thread continued.

The martyrdom and self victimization is kinda grating.

This is one mans opinion, and others may jump in and disagree.

Take your licks, jump back up and smile, then accept a welcome back to the community.  We're a lovin' bunch.

Chairboy,

Speak for yourself. SOB and furball are the only "lovin'" ones around here.
