Thx again for the great wingman work Oly01! I showed up over 61 in my ki84 and started trying to BnZ a 109, then an FM2 showed up. I could keep above both of them, but couldn't really get a clean shot without blowing all my E or letting the other guy take a shot. Then the P-51 showed up. And the C2whatever. And the 202. And the LALA. And the yak. And the FM2 upped again. So I'm a looping and swooping fool, taking my shots and zooming as much as possible. The f4u actually got a ping on me, not sure which of us got him though. It seemed like every time I lined up on a bandit, I'd get a 6 call from you, look backwards, and see you blasting someone off my tail. That was awesome.
Next thing I know, I saw my 4th kill flash across the screen, right as you rtb for fuel. That reminds me... Fuel. Gotcha, not much left. We've killed all the fast bandits so RTB isn't too difficult, until I had to pull the throttle waaaay back to keep from running out of gas. The P-38 started running me down... I still can't believe you were able to rev and kick his butt before he got me, as I glided at near-idle power back to base.
Awesome work, and between the 2 of us we landed 10 kills, without a single vulch
Now THAT is fun in AH2. I wish I had a film 'cause I still don't know where 2 of my kills came from
