It should... Saturn used the Vauxhall VX220 as the styling model.

They are completely different platforms, the Sky being built on the GM Kappa platform as is the Pontiac Solstice. Oldly, for GM's entry-level company, Saturn will offer the Sky in with higher level of luxury and different suspension tuning than the Pontiac. Both will have 170 hp motors and performance on par or a tad better than the just updated Mazda Miata.

Nifty looking car.

I had good luck with my Saturn, ran for 9 years and would've gone more if I was inclined to replace all the components that were getting up there.

A rebaged Pontiac Solstice? or an entirely different car?

Hmmm...given that the 3rd gen Miata is about 350lb lighter than the Sky/Solstice with about the same hp, that will be pretty surprising.

More like 500 lb.  It would be an interesting car with about 300 hp.

Hate to say it, but I new the new Miata looks better. Having own a 94 which I still have and a 02 just traded in for a 05 CTS. The new one is a much needed improvement power wise. And I look forward to owning one. But not untill they ban the use of cell phones while driving. My issue is I just got tired of being ran off the road in my 02 Miata. I'm not talking the well I put my car in the wrong spot. Were talking people not even looking and changing lanes while yapping on the phone. In a 2 week period to be ran off the road its a bit over the edge for me!

The new Sat looks cute.

And nuch, confused expressions are the norm when driving a Caddy.  No one can figure out anyone would own such an ugly car.  :D
