Very sad to hear indeed. I saw the "Masters" perform a number of times and was always impressed. Jimmy Franklin also had a modified 1940 Waco bi-plane with a T-38 (J-85) jet engine mounted beneath that enabled him to do the most amazing vertical maneuvers I've ever seen a biplane perform.
Ah well, I remember during one of Bobby Younkin's shows where he was stunting his Twin Beech in ways the airframe was never designed for, the announcer commenting
"He always pushes the limits..." and I remember saying to my wife, "Let's hope the limits don't push back..."
