HTC is an american company and adding any non-american plane would clearly be unpatriotic and strongly sugguest the possibility that HT is a terrorist. The poor performance of the infamous P51, which should be able to go 450 bajillion mph and turn like a zero, already makes me a little suspicious.

Hmmm, I think we can see who the real anti-American is here.  :p

Ah well, the old, planes we need vs planes we want problem.

The planes we want get people to play and keep 'em happy, the planes we need improve the game and will be vital for TOD.

For instance, I am NOT looking forward to a historic, mission-based simulation where the Germans and Japanese capture bases using the C47 and the M3 - sigh.

Also would one Italian plane capable of dropping a bomb be too much to ask? ;)

Well, the Japanese at least had license built DC-3s being used as troop transports.  The Allied code name for them was "Tabby".

roflol on the 'we need more american planes'

I go with the idea of seeing a goat strapped on the pony first.
