If he wants to play Safety then send him down here for a few weeks in the summer to some real football camps and we will get him so hyped up on football that those candy butt kids up in the Pacific Northwest won't know what hit 'em. For starters teach him how to play out of a standing stance if you want a safety. Otherwise drop for a noob thats not a bad 3 point lineman stance.

:D

Oh and get that crazy looking Revo helmet off his head. Give him an old fashioned Air or something alot cheaper. Must be another one of those Washington area fads....My kid just got a Schutt Youth DNA helmet so I know what you were thinking.

He's got middle linebacker eyes.

Judging from the size Im guessing Mighty mite?
Looks kinda small for a Jr Pee Wee.

They started hitting yet?

Reschkes right though. Not a half bad 3 point.
Have him bend his knees just a tad more and move his right foot back just a few inches.

Good looking kid though:aok

This is his first year of full contact. Not sure what position he'll play, he WANTS to play LB or safety. He's green, won't see much playing time, but will see a ton of practice beginning monday, 5 days a week, 2 hours a day. I've got my Truck camper stocked with beer and burgers for those practices after work (for me! :p)

August 1st. Weather here is typically 75-80 degrees. Personally I prefer the milder weather, the kids get to enjoy the sport rather than to dred it.  Its all about having fun, isn't it?

Our "typical" Northwest summer (one of the major plusses of living here!)

TODAY...MOSTLY SUNNY EXCEPT AREAS OF MORNING LOW CLOUDS. HIGHS 75 TO 80. LIGHT WIND BECOMING NORTHWEST NEAR 10 MPH THIS AFTERNOON.
TONIGHT...MOSTLY CLEAR. LOWS 50 TO 55. NORTH WIND TO 10 MPH.

TUESDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...MOSTLY CLEAR. HIGHS IN THE UPPER 70S TO MID 80S. LOWS IN THE 50S. NORTH WIND TO 10 MPH.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY...MOSTLY CLEAR. LOWS IN THE 50S. HIGHS 75 TO 80.

THURSDAY NIGHT...BECOMING CLOUDY. LOWS IN THE 50S.

FRIDAY...MORNING CLOUDS...THEN MOSTLY SUNNY. HIGHS IN THE 70S.

FRIDAY NIGHT...BECOMING MOSTLY CLOUDY. LOWS 50 TO 55.

SATURDAY...MORNING CLOUDS...THEN PARTLY SUNNY. HIGHS 70 TO 75.

SATURDAY NIGHT...BECOMING CLOUDY. LOWS 50 TO 55.

SUNDAY...MORNING CLOUDS...THEN PARTLY SUNNY. HIGHS IN THE 70S

not a bad 3 point for Oline, but Dline is where it's at.

He needs to square his stance no more then shoulder with apart. I take it he's right handed so left foot 5 inches in front of right, and get him on his toes.

get him some gloves and some eye black and he's good to go. :aok

tell him good luck!
