You are a police officer, you are called to the scene of an altercation. Apparently some young punk has been spray painting Swastikas in a dept store changing room. There have been only two people use this changing room in the last 30 minutes. It wasn't there before then.
Here are the two people:
Both claim they didn't do it. Which would be your primary suspect?
If you say you would question them both *equally*, are you being objective? Isn't the white guy with the boots and shaved head more likely to be your suspect? Is it wrong to reference in your mind that people fitting his description are usually the type of people to do this? Are you a bigot?
There seems to be a total lack of common sense with some people here. The example above is laughable, but if people from different ethnic backgrounds were put up there, and the crime was a little different, whooa! Peoples rights would be trampled! An outrage!
In the case of the WTC kamikaze hijackings, every single suspect so far has been from middle eastern descent (am I right?). If you're an FBI agent off somewhere checking leads on Jewish fellas in Chicago, you're one heckuva lovey dovey fair investigator, only problem is you're a moron.
It's late, I'm hitting the sack.
