This is a flyers game that's for sure! But as i see it, it has a lot of potencial to be more. Is there any planes to build on the groundplay?

I'm thinking, infantry, tanks, transports etc.

There was a game once that had this but it's destroyed now.

I'm not a flyerguy and prob never will be, but AH could very likely be my future game!

Aces High is a flying game. They've just added tanks for fun.

I highly doubt you'd ever get to play the role of an infantryman.

You have many game engines that can move stuff through 3d space(space ships, mystical beings, etc.) - they're a dime a dozen now. I think the success of AH is its flight models and narrow scope. I think if it tried to be too much it would hurt the game.
BTW, "narrow scope" is not a put down or a bad thing. I think its good sometimes (e.g., neurosurgeon).

Bisides, wouldn't it be fun killing infantry from the air, bombing tanks.

Painting pretty pictures in blood on the ground with the tailgunner etc.

this game has it all tanks planes and even infantry. you can bail from your plane and shoot people now..

you speak about the future, i hope that involves more people learning to fight instead of HOing and running.

Gameplay has been getting worse for a number of years, and I see no signs of it improving.

I will assume that you're new. Because of that you didnt see what the game was 3 4 or 5 years ago. Hell, even a year ago. In this time it has grown leaps and bounds. People who ask about the future usually know little about the past. Not a big deal, or even your fault, just saying...

I am confident that HTC will continue to grow and more so continue to offer us the kick ass, game that they have for years now.

ToD isn't the future of this game. ToD is another game, meant to drag all of the toolshedding hordes out of our way so we can go back to actually fighting in this Air Combat game.

No infantry for me thanks; they don't explode or catch fire when I shoot them.

Maybe allow the general disc threads to be edited like they used to be? Rather than however many minutes it is now. Shoulda just killed the oclub all together.

Infantry has no future in this game.. well maybe after submarines are complete..

HTC will continue to grow no doubt as long as they keep offering new graphical as well as gameplay innovations. GO TOD!!

i think TOD will be great because..
1. I'll play it
2. Historic plane matchups
3. RPG element
4.Historic Terrain/Maps
5. More organized play
6.Bunch of other cool new stuff i dont know about.

I agree, people should be allowed to edit their own posts..
