I dunno.. why is it every time i see something cobbled together by canadian troops the words that come to mind invariably are:

"WTF GENIUS CAME UP WITH THAT GOOFY RIG???

Nils could come up with something better than that made outta an oar, 50' of clothesline and a porta-pottie.. and it'd stand in a force-10.

Danish officials said the last flag blew down.

Whotta freakin surprise THAT is.

Copenhagen is calm at this hour.Dawn was bout 2.5 hours ago, and there's no sign of any belligerent activity.
Jets have been flying overhead all day and night, though, and tension has been building all week. Expect something to happen at dusk. Just what may happen is still in doubt: It may involve amphibious craft and airmobile troops, or it may involve Tuborg Classic and Carl's Special. Stay tuned for updates.

The Canadians would win. All they have to do is to put their troops and stuff on any ground higher than 30 feet and the Danes would'nt have a clue on how to get at it. :)

Lol.. is that a flag monting contraption Hangtime??? :rofl

I think they should set up a "nuetral zone" in the disputed border area.  The UN can paint a pair of blue lines down the middle to mark the zone.  Encroachment into the nuetral zone by either party would be considered "offsides".  The UN would call a penalty and a "face-off" would be held at the site of the offsides penalty.  The UN would also monitor any hostile behavior that might lead to any kind of "neutral zone trap".  This behavior would be immediately stopped, since it is boring.

That will work until the troops on both sides decide their army isnt paying them enough, so they will both go on strike until they can get a better salary from their respective armies.

Umm, for some nations yes. If war breaks out, can we side with Denmark and take all of the populated areas and give the rest to Denmark ? Oh yea, give them Quebec too.

I can see his point, i do have a lot of friends that are Canadian so im gonna have to side with Canada.  They would be doing ALMOST the same thing We (US) has done for so many centuries, defending our land against enemys who seek to take away our land, freedom, whatever it is.  Go Canada!!!

LOL.. this noise is about a barren chunk of rocks in the middle of a channel. No strategic or commercial value. It's just a pile of rocks.

Danish rocks... right next to the great big danish rock called greenland...

But still, just rocks.

I think the side that gets it should be the one that builds a flagpole that'll stand in more than 5 knots of wind.
