The first two pics definitely look like T-6

The third one could very well be mossies, but I doubt they were real.

That's one reason which makes it so Golly-gee good movie; it's nothing Hollywood would had ever produced (like U-571 or  "Pearl Harbour"... LOL) but it's showing the miseries and horrors of the war and basically tossing them against the viewers face.

If I remember right the end of that movie, you  CANT say SURE if captain dies or not. He gets hits and falls but dying is not confirmed.
