To follow up on the story. The prize went to 115 million Euro, that is $143,000,000 and it was won by someone in Ireland, sadly not me and after some exciting phone calls none of my relatives either. Damm! It worth only 25 million this week, not worth doing.

It was won by a woman called Dolores McNamara in Limerick who unfortunately went straight to the pub to celebrate and so her picture was in nearly every paper in Europe next morning. Not very discreet.
To make it worse her son was previously a suspect in a murder enquiry and her nephew is doing life for a gangland execution. Which means she has some potentially deadly enemies looking for their cut. She hasn't been home since and went to London and supposedly is going to live in Turkey where she already had a holiday home in the same resort where terrorists planted a bomb in a bus killing some tourists.

The omens don't look that good. But at least she can afford protection.

With any amount no one in my family (blood or married into) would have to worry about to much. Of course my parents and my wifes parents would be taken care of as would my grandparents (my wifes are gone now). From the immediate family the amount tossed out to individuals in the family would decrease exponentially compared to how they have lived their lives to that point.

Of course my wife and I would build our dream home here after buying a couple of lots in the neighborhood and tearing down the houses there first. Then my ultimate game room would have fully networked T1 access to the internet. BUT mainly I would share with the HTC community as well. At least two months of AH subs for everyone.

I would also go back to my old high school and build a 20,000 seat stadium for the football team and brand new weight room and pay for a few players to make a move down there and live on the hunting lodge area I would buy. Only a little place with about 30,000 acres in central alabama where the turkeys and deer run wild. Then any AH guys that want to drop by for some good old fashioned white-tail hunting can just let me know.

Reschke,  your money wouldn't last long funding that kind of effort.  It's a bottomless pit. But I suggest a few places in Syria where rich Iraqi Saddam supporters live, might be a good place to start. They are the people funding the terror in Iraq.

Meanwhile to further update the real winner's fate. Latest news is that a cousin of hers was busted for possession of drugs at the weekend. A real 'nice' family it turns out.

-money makes money it should be no problem.

easy what to do with that much money. Buy a CH setup, one of them fancy 32" plasma monitors, a bose sound system, a fridge for my room, have a toilet installed into my computer seat, and pay for a years worth of aces high.

I know a few former "operators" who would go on a hunting trip for a little while fairly cheap.
