Not a bad vodka. "middle of the road" quality.

Since when "cranberry" stuff is white?

Frankly speaking I'll prefer any local brand not cheaper then 60 rubles per halflitre to Finlandia. Their cranberry liquor is a good thing (for girls ;)), but white 40% liquid is not good, even if you don't look at the price.

You are correct, it is owned by an American company but it is still brewed in Finland.

Ownership doesn't change the essence of a drink :)

Russian vodka is very nice drink and I like it as such. However, it is nice to have some variety. The cranberry vodka with lime is very good drink to have with a good friend on a sunny afternoon;)

Today I have a great moment with my best friend here at the shore of lake of Siekkinen (My home lake)

Finlandia is a pretty good vodka. I very seldom drink the stuff bare so the fine nuances between vodkas elude me... I only taste the diff between really bad and really good.

I gotta echo SASMOX on Russian vodka. I just got a bottle of 80 proof "Ladoga" and it tasted like birds milk when compared to the usual local stuff.

One thing I've learned about tasters in the distillery business while a bartender for a few years....they (associates in the distillery business) said never trust the judgement of a smoker when it comes to taste.

I can understand that.

After I quit 1,5 years ago almost everything tastes different than before.

Got to try this one the other night.  Not bad.  I'm not much of a vodka drinker, and honestly couldnt tell you what is what.  I do know that this one was very smooth though.

I normally stick with bourbon or tequila.

Tito's is great stuff. But, don't take my word for it. Do a Google search and read the reviews. Made at a true microdistillery in copper pot stills. I met Tito years ago when he was first launching his vodka. He's a very cool guy and fun to talk to. Gave up his job as a geologist and maxed out his credit cards to build his distillery.
Now he owns and operates the only legal distillery in Texas.
