It means there's a debris field there that you can pick up if you've got recyclers. Hold your cursor over it to see how much res it's got (M=metal, K= crystal)

My guess would be solar system - less distance to go = less time and less fuel needed.

If I've done my guzintas right I should be raiding tomorrow evening with a light fighter and a small transport :D

BlueJ, I sent you the app for Trill in Universe 2.  I also talked one of the guys at work into joining in Universe 2, his planet is named Brazoria.  I'll have to get his location tomorrow and have him send you an app.  We have some hefty competition in this universe, gonna have to be on our toes and watch who we attract the attention of.
