Perk the B-24!

An unperked B-24 really is ruining the game play in the MA.  Its got the best guns/bombs/durability/speed package in the game.  If it was a fighter, it'd be perked just like the F4U-4, F4uC, Ta-152, Tempest, and Spitfire MkIX are.

Your kidding me right? I fly B-24's all the time and get shot down all the time.

Defensive fire power is good but there are blind spots.

Bomb load depends on target. City a B-17 is better, CV's Lanc's. Airfields, I do prefer the B-24.

Durability, give me a break. One good hit on the wing and it is up in flames and then promptly comes off.

Speed, If I have to get there right now the Ki-67 is bomber I take. 320mph at 20K. The B-24 isn't all that fast, any fighter in the game can catch it.

Now if the B-29 is brought into the game, yeah perk that bad boy. Give me something to spend my bomber points on, but not the B-24.

perk the B24, and while at it perk the B17 and the lancaster and the b26 too, and perk bombs.

Ande perk the devasting rockets that jabos use to shredd the fields. Oh and before i forget it perk the canons on the planes, they do to much damage. Any gun over 10mm needs to be perked to equal it out.

B24's in this game are not the most durable bombers.  I fly B24's, B17's, B26's, and KI67's a lot, and have found that, out of these bombers, the B26's are the most durable, especially going over enemy fields and CV's at 5K.

Perk the freaking TROOPS!!  THEY are ruining the game as they go marching along in a perfect column, wearing their C4 laden back packs, blowing the crap outta a perfectly good bunker.  I hate those guys

Your observations are wrong or your having a laugh.  26's best guns lancs best bombs b17's durability speed KI67 / bostons.

There is a right way and a wrong way to attack bombers and I ain't telling:D

No kidding.  I can hear the squeals now if a had an engine that caught fire as easily as a California mountainside in August.  (Ok... zekes don't count... those things fly forever while burning )

Anytime I get shot down by a set of buffs, I usually know it's coming.  "yep... blew that shot... his target's coming up... screw it, now or never... ping ping ping ping"  

A good setup will kill them easy, hit the drones, let them burn, setup, repeat.  It doesn't actually take cannons either.  I lost an entire set to a very good P51 pilot who did exactly that... kept speed and E... pinged at engines only.  Over the course of 4-5 runs ALL B24s were dead and I saluted him on a job well done (and I can usually kill anyone getting too close eventually).
