The Me263 (Americabomber) was a much different plane than the Ju390.  Neither saw operational use.  The Me263 would not have been able to inflict serious damage had it been employed.  Like many German wonderweapons, it was a waste of resources and developement time.

The best bets for a MA bomber for the Germans are the Ju188A-2, He177A-5 or Do217E.

kid, you need to learn to use puntuation instead of writing a paragraph-long sentance.

remember, punctuaion is the difference between "i helped my uncle, jack, off a horse" and "i helped my uncle jack off a horse."

He-177 would be a more sensible suggestion

He177 would be nice but Ju188 is sexier. And Ju188 was by far the better plane, unlike the He177 the engines didn't tend to burn up.

Ju188 just like the 88 is a fast bomber. He177 can take more ordnance though (depending on version). Would also be nice with anti shipping missiles.

I would prefer the Ju188A-2.  It is faster than the Ki-67 and carries a larger bomb load than the B-17 while still having decent defensive guns.

And it is so much better looking.  It is, in fact, one of the prettiest bombers of WWII.

If that's true Karnak, it would have to be perked.  Possibly lightly.

Not that good defencive armamnet lasersailor. It's still very vulnerable from the bottom. Nothing to perk really but it would be a good bomber.

The reason to perk it would be because it is too pretty to be a bomber.

Because it is a slow, fragile aircraft with minimal bomb load and defensive guns.

Think of a Ju88A-4, but then make it weaker in all ways except fuel endurance which you double or triple.

It is so fragile that a few broke their backs in normal landings.
