banana - you're oviously not informed... here is how it works..

This is a consipiracy. You see, aliens are sponoring evil democeats and controling the media thanks to their "brain wave" technology. The aim is to take guns away from all freedom loving people so that when invasion of aliens comes - they can't defend themselves.

Can't you see it ?

Erm.. Dowding? That quote was from an individual.. not a Bulletin Board.

as a rule.. people only discuss those types of topics in this forum because they feel complex issues are quite simple. To be honest.. very few of the discussions on this board actually scratch the surface of the real issue before they degrade to name calling.

This is to be expected when individuals are stating, then defending their point of view.

Its actually quite different when the accusations are coming from the government... filtering down into your workplace.. then into your private life.

I'll take credit for that one. Made you think though didn't it. It was pertaining to RU486 pill which I still think is as evil as evil gets. What else happens when a woman takes the pill? The the baby just dissolves into a happy goo and disappears? Don't think so, it goes down the toilet along with the person's conscience. Just another way of avoiding responsibility for ones own action, a liberal mantra.

Simple test.

If you agree with 90% of what the TV station says when it discusses politics then there is a good chance it sides with your party.

For example CNN(Clinton National Network) reports that Floriduh goes to Bore when Bush is ahead by 10%.

Or when their consultants almost all come from the Demo party i.e. CNN.

I only mention CNN because that is the only station I've been watching. They are the first to get the news almost every time. But you have to see it live so you get the REAL story not the Demo view.

Would you pleas stop stereotyping? I'm a liberal, but I hate abortion when used as birth control. Eagler, I know that it simplifies things to just brand all liberals as "baby killers", but to do so is to ignore all of us out there that think about each issue, and don't just spew the "party line".

You REALLY like your pigeon holes, don't you? You espouse freedom of choice and independance, yet you don't allow people any sense of individuality. "All liberals are the same" seems to be your mantra.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems you are against the use of the 'morning after pill' in all circumstances. If so, what happens to the conscience of a woman after rape and she takes the pill? Not allowing women an abortion after rape is 'as evil as evil gets'.

BTW, the 'morning after pill' is now available in the UK without prescription for anyone over 16 (costs £20 a time).

Erm... AKDejaVu when I said '...from this BB.", I wasn't implying that this BB is a conscious entity. Individuals make up this BB, in the same way that individuals make up a media service.

The audience of this bbs is not to be compared to our national news. I do generalize, see above post to banana. As for the rape victim, this seems to be an excuse many use to justify now over the counter murder. If my wife was raped and became pregnant because of it, I would have the baby aborted in a hospital. I would pay for it, not the government. I don't think anyone would say anything about it. Take rape out of the argument please. I'm talking about abortion as a means of birth control. I'm talking about my tax dollars paying for someone's murder.
Now that it just another "vitamin", our younger generations morals will continue to spiral downward.
