Thanks Bob, that was good!

Funny, bob, I just about spit my coffee out.

Now, enough frivolity, let's get back to the whining.

Bob very nice sir
Everyone enjoys a  good "rumor", or outstanding work like yours.
Obviously I love this game,   and believe the success health  and long term vitality of Ah has as much to do with techinical aspects ie frame rates, planes etc as  the human relationship aspect or sportsmanship or gamemanship of the  people who play the game.
The other night serious intimidation and bulling was directed at  a Rook by a Rook who is and his squad well represented in this thread.
Its a game, let everyone bring something positive to the table.

Bottom line is there are maroons like hubert that actually relish the thought of ruining a good furball and there are others like 999 and friends that just want to be noticed for the work they do.  Those of us who just want to fight happen to be caught in the middle.

And what a joke Hubert, most complaints are not about people trying to take bases and you would have nothing to say if you could comprehend that.  It is the people who have no organized plan, have no idea if a goon is inbound, that don't even care if the base is taken.  All they see is a big fight going on so they go and take out the fighter hangers.  99% of the time the FHrs are down and everything else is up and no atttempt is being made to capture the base.  These are the people causing the frustration for the fighter and ***** up the game for us.

Why should bomber and strat guys be frustrated?  There is always somewhere they can go and drop bombs.  This is the main reason hubert posts the balony he does and people say just go to the DA to fight, because  they have no idea what it is like to find a nice furball and they have no idea how frustrating it is to log on and not be able to find or enjoy a good fight.

So 999 saw some frustration being vented, whimper, whimper.  I have seen his clan lay down the same intimidation and bulling, be it in retort or to antagonize.  But you don't see us crying on the BBS or switching countries in a tiff.

The problem lies in HTC unwillingness to see and/or address the weakness of the hangers and CVs or the fact that his game is now more about stopping fights and taking bases than it is about fighting in the air.  But he has his agenda and it is his game so, so be it.

I just hope all you spoilers will find you way to TOD and people who enjoy the thrill of the fight can once again thrive in the MA.

And several page threads, most of which get locked, and the inevitable week long pursefights that ensue, as well as the ill will they generate, serve only to deepen the divide between us "mindless furballers", and you "mindless porkers". This whole deal would have been over and done with in 5 minutes, but you've insisted on dragging it on and on, *****ing at me in the game, having your squaddie *****ing at me in the game, which of course leads to the enthusiastic following that *****es at me just because you 2 are.

My apologies to APdrone, and BOS229er. I've flown with and against drone many times over the years, and have found him to be a good and pleasant opponent and teammate. BOS229er, other than expressing his delight and enthusiasm for ruining any fight I'm near (probably only because it obviously irritates me), hasn't done or said much to otherwise incur my wrath. But you 999, weren't even involved, weren't addressed, took personal offence at my being irritated, appointed yourself a defender of the realm, and have, since doing so, done every single thing you've accused me of. It was bad enough that it happened in the first place,  but it's inexcusable for you to perpetuate this.

Hub sir!
I appreciate your effort to make things right !!
To the "notion defender of the realm" anyone can do it here or more importantly in the real world .. It has everything to do what General Bradley said once about "moral Courage" ..to do whats right regardless of the pearsonel cost..General Bradley went on to say everyone is not blessed with the say abilities in life but anyone can have all the moral courage they want...... and that is what makesa good man a great man. Yes I don't mind running "point" even at a cost if its the right thing to do.....The only way to really lead is from the front.
***Just for the record that night when I  first got on .saw big red bar at 24..thought Cap bust!...then found out shortly that CV was  right off shore....I'm in my b17.. I thought ok sink CV!......But then I heard fellow rooks asking to keep CV up( not even sure who was asking) so out of respect to fellow rooks
I did lazy cirlcle around cv killing 4 before going down my self and did not try to sink the CV. Thought you might want to know.

999zillion,
Please don't come back to the nits. You're bombers are fun to kill. You and tatertot are the ONLY bomber targets available when fighting rooks. Your services are of value.
But, if you do want to come back, we'll take ya. :aok
As for the rest of you purse fighters...it's a game for cripes sake.

999 I heard you started asking most of the time lately and I respect that.  That is one of the reasons I was suprised that you got sucked into this.  From one furballer I appreciate the thought bud
