The dual hemis are a little much?

Gunslinger, I'm going to have to ask for you to give up your american citizenship.  I hear places like france and germany will take you now.

I ran an episode of Motorweek and they talked about the Hurricane a little.........It wont see production. It is purely a concept vehicle. Although I would think that if enough people sent in money, flowers, underclothes, etc, that at some point they would consider something similar.

actually that's funny.  I finished the brakes and I replaced all the lugs.  The sloted rotors are sitting in the garage (was supposed to be this weekends project)

You forgot:

-Desert kept, NO RUST!
-New remanufactured engine with 7 year warrenty, only 7000 miles on it.

They towed it this morning but before it left I put a strait edge on the frame.  It was off by 1/4" on that side.

:furious

FWIW.. I had a Cherokee I wuz quite attached to. Gave it to my daughter as her first car, and had to watch it suffer ignoble desecration with stickers, stuffed animals and piles of fast food trash for a couple of years before it finally gave up in exasperation with it's new owner by simply refusing to start.

After my wife paid for the kids second car, I went over and got it running, tossed out the trash and scraped off the stickers, rubbed down the interior with armor all and drove it to a friends garage and made a gift of it to him. He's got a plow on it now, and it still soldiers on, fighting the snow in winter, getting stranded motorists that need a loaner to work and towing lesser makes outta the puddle in town that turns into a lake every time it rains.

There's only ONE Jeep. Anything else is just a wannabe.

Nope. Mine was built in Canada. On machinery made in the USA.

Not in Japan on machinery made in Korea. Not that I'm knocking the Xterra.. as a Jeep Wanabe, it's better than most.

But it ain't a Jeep.

The Xterra was designed by an American and built in Smyrna, Tennessee.

Is Smyrna in the U.S.?

Can't really compare it to a Jeep (other than possibly a Cherokee). It's apples and oranges. The Xterra is a not a rock-crawler (unless highly modified), but it's nice for getting out into the wilderness and being able to carry all your gear.

$3400

As I recall, there's one in Kaliufornika. I haven't been to the one in Tennessee.. just becuase it's on a map, don't mean it's actually there. Could be a government conspiracy. ;)

It's merely biased personal prefrence and dogged refusal to aknowledge evidence to the contrary that keeps defecated upon and mongrelized brands alive.

Sometimes I just hate myself.

I'm all about biased personal preferences.

I'd prefer a 1976 Toyato Landcruiser FJ-40.
