Let me get this straight. Some guy is hiding in a Tiger and picks you off repeatedly. You finally find where he is hiding and you let him land because . . . . . . .?

Its like having a 1 vs 1 in planes and as soon as you get his aleron, you let him go? Not to be confused with engaging an already damaged plane from a different fight.

Not to mention you write about ow honerable you were. Shouldn't the guy you let go be doing that?

Yeah that was pretty stupid, I would have picked away at him with smoke/HE rounds, and if hes wasn't dead within 100 yards of homebase, I would have put the final AP round right up his arse.

Seems like I remember that happening a lot more in AW, but then again it was smaller arenas and you tended to know the guys you were fighting.

If you were in a good knock down drag out fight and the other guy was all shot up, you'd sometimes just send them on their way with a 'nice fight, hope you make it home'.

Haven't seen it much here. If I see a guy's prop stop, I'll pull off and hope the guy can get the plane down, but then again I get kills so rarely it's not really an issue. Usually it's me falling in pieces to the ground

Guess it's from flying AW. This guy and I have traded tigers quite a few times. I posted to show the respect and honor the Knits had in not tracking him down after I asked them not to. I did not post to show I had honor.
Oh he wasn't up on a hill, he was in the grass, which with the 6 foot plus grass in AH, I think he did pretty good. Maybe this will make it easier for those of you not understanding. How's this? It was the NICE thing to do. Like a few have pointed out, you do not see that often in AH. A group of people doing something nice.
I think I'm doing pretty good at restraining myself from "lashing back" at some of the replies.

I used to be able to reply in kind but I realised recently that after a couple of years of partaking in "wars of words" I've lost the feeling and forgotten how to.

I would fly 10 sectors to bomb a vulching Tiger, and I wouldn't go that far to look for my kids
