It really doesn't need much more...remember this was the 70's when this thing was built..37hp wasn't bad for a 4 stroke 408cc motor.

Yea, I'm just pulling your leg a little.  I'd get an economical bike myself except that my my Dad either fell off or got run into while riding every bike he ever owned, so I've decided to not tempt fate and stick with cars.

To compensate for my unwillingness to drive a bike, I drive a trans-am.  305+ hp worth of zoom zoom.  Fun even without a mullet :)

When you look at the guages...as the foot presses the pedal, the RPM's go up and the Fuel guage goes down?

Thats a bumblebee painted on the tank...I did that when I first got it. There was arust hole in the exhaust collector so made a kinda buzzing sound going down the road (This was back in 99 btw) So bucause of the yellow and black color and the noise it made, my friends gave it that nickname.

Next thing is to find a matching front wheel, the spokes are rusty so I painted the wheels and didn't like it, I found a rear wheel from a 78 Hondamatic 400-2cyl...now I just need to find a front.

I forgot to list what I've done.

Removed the airbox
Moved electronics/electrical modules under the seat,
Drilled the right side engine case,
Removed the Electric Starter,
Chopped the front and rear fenders
Changed from headlight to one off my old Yamaha RD200 (It looks better than the stock one)
Changed taillight to the one off my old 74 Kawasaki S3 (KH400)
Painted the engine with cool wrinkle coat paint.
Removed turn signals.
Installed Clubman Cafe handlebars
Changed to single cable throttle.

my son gave me a BMW R 75 of 76 vintage... I run around on it doing errands and it is great to take out in the cool of the evening..  My girlfriend likes it because it is so smooth and quiet... you can converse on it while riding... it is only like 50 hp and the top speed is a claimed 110 mph but it will cruise all day at 100 I am told... seems smooth enough at 90 tho.

it is old and faded and people look at it and wonder what it is.. It probly gets more attention than the plastic neon bikes around.
