Stricty gameplay speaking...I'd like to see the FW's have a flap option at 200 mph.

Another notch at 160 and we'll take it from there.

If HT will not get rid of the coddling Auto-retracting flaps in favor of a model that will model flap stress realistically, then I really don't think you'll have a snow ball's chance in Hell getting an extra flap setting a plane didn't have put into the game.

190s did have 1 notch high speed combat flaps and can be used below 300 mph. This's been showed on aircraft/vehicle thread.

Also it would be important to have AUTO EXTENDING FLAPs for N1K2-J. All N1K2-Js had this feature and a mercury thingy is used to sense if the Angle of attack is high. If angle of attack is high the the flaps automatically extend

Have to disagree there. While they MAY have had some sort of mechanism in reality, I don't want the game flying my plane for me. I want to turn my flaps on when I want 'em, dagnabbit!!! :P I accept autoretract because it's the best solution for that problem, but I don't want autodeploy!! Too gamey.

I found the thread my self :)

Yeah I'd like to see the combat/takeoff/first notch of flaps deploy acording to historical values. Crumpp seem to have found good documents of it.

I do not want it added if it is proven to be wrong. Want it realistic.

Why is it "gamey" to model a system that all N1K2-J's had in reality and one that worked very well in reality?  There is no "MAY have had" about it.  They had it.  That is part of the N1K2-J's flight performance.  To not want it is to want a gamey modification.

Now, only N1Ks should have the auto-deployed flaps, so far as I know.  Certainly US aircraft did not have that mechanism.

How is adding something into the game that actually happened in real life gamey?  That's like saying the ability to look left and right is gamey.
