 Why is it "gamey" to model a system that 
all N1K2-J's had in reality and one that worked very well in reality?  There is no "MAY have had" about it.  They had it.  That is part of the N1K2-J's flight performance.  To not want it is to want a gamey modification.
Now, only N1Ks should have the auto-deployed flaps, so far as I know.  Certainly US aircraft did not have that mechanism.
